Clover is the largest dairy company in South Africa and offers a wide spectrum of job opportunities to approximately 6500 employees. Our mission is to provide, in partnership with all stakeholders, a full and integrated service which will result in the optimal utilization of our human potential. This process needs to be to the advantage of the company as well as the individual and should purposefully contribute to achieving Clover's quest for sustained growth, profitability and excellence.
To ensure growth, progress and stability we endeavour to establish a pleasant and motivating work climate. Through a commitment to our core values, idealism, dedication and respect we have established a healthy work ethic. Passion, speed and commitment are encouraged at all levels.
To meet our current and future requirements it is important that we unlock the potential of all our people. Individual aspirations are supported by purposeful and focused training while attending to realistic and equitable career planning.
Training and Development
Clover's strength is in the specific emphasis placed on skills training. It is an important focus of the company and substantial time and money are spent on improving management and technical skills. As a major dairy company we are registered with the Food and Beverage Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), which opens a whole range of new learnership opportunities. Training and development initiatives are aligned with the company strategy and the details of the diverse range of investments are contained in the Workplace Skills Plan.
Recruitment and Career Development
As the market leader, Clover plays a major role in establishing structures for attracting and retaining human capital. Special attention is paid to selection and promotion of the right people in the right positions. Through a talent management process we compile individual development programmes which help prepare emplyees for appointment to critical positions within the organisation.
Our staff are our most valuable resource and their growth within Clover is one of our priorities. Therefore, Clover has a policy of advertising vacancies internally. External recruitment is dependent on special circumstances and these positions are usually advertised in the mass media and not on this website.
