| Onion Tart with Cheddar Crust |

| Preparation method |
- In saucepan, heat onions and butter and let simmer over very low heat. Let cool.
- Place pastry on floured surface
- Cover one half with cheddar and fold other half over
- Roll out until original; size
- Cut large circle of pastry and place in baking tray
- Spread with cream cheese, leaving a border of about 5 cm
- Sprinkle with thyme and spoon onions over
- Fold pastry border over onions
- Bake at 180˚C until golden brown
- Season with pepper and serve warm
