Spicy Pear & Custard Tart

Ingredients

500ml Ultra Mel Vanilla Custard
3 eggs
pinch of cinnamon
seeds of 1 vanilla pod
1 tbsp brandy
4 large pears, peeled, cored and halved lengthwise
Clover Butter

Preparation method
  • Combine Ultra Mel, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and brandy in mixing bowl
  • Whisk well
  • Lightly butter round oven dish
  • Arrange pears in dish and pour over custard
  • Bake in oven at 180˚C for 45 minutes
