Clover takes the Lead in the Fridge Food Category of the 2008 Ipsos Markinor / Sunday Times Top Brands Survey
Clover has clearly dazzled South Africans to have been ranked number 1 in this category, based on our Brand Relationship Score.

Top Brands is the only voice-of-the-people, research-based branding survey. Brands in this survey are ranked based on the Brand Relationship Score achieved, determined by asking respondents three critical questions for each of the categories included in this survey:
- Spontaneous awareness of brands for each category
- The level of trust and confidence that is placed in the brand
- The commitment toward the brand.
In this same category Danone is placed at position no 4 in 2008.
In 2006 - which was when the previous reading of the Food in the Fridge category was included in the study, Clover was positioned at no 2 - behind Rama - and Danone was in place no 7.
South Africa's Coolest Brand
Clover is at position no 17 (vs position no 25 of 2007), positioned just below BILLABONG, but ahead of brands such as:
- Food/Snacks/Cooldrink: Koo, Nestle, Simba, Sprite, Fanta, Kellogg's, All Gold
- Cars: Toyota - WINNER OF THE CAR CATEGORY
- Fast Foods: Kentucky Fried Chicken - WINNER OF THE FAST FOOD AND CHAINS CATEGORY
- Banking: ABSA - WINNER OF THE BANKING CATEGORY
- Retail Chains: Shoprite- WINNER OF THE RETAIL CHAINS CATEGORY
