Cheddar is manufactured using pasteurised, standardised cow's milk according to prescribed work instructions. It is a full fat, hard cheese with a smooth texture and a nutty, sharp distinct cheddar flavour. Slightly salty, with an orange-yellow colour. The product contains no preservatives other than salt. Annatto cheese colouring is added to standardise the colour of the finished product.
