- Cut the hot cross buns in horizontally half.
- Place onto oven pan and lightly toast hot cross buns under grilling element.
- Remove and sprinkle grated cheese over each half.
- Place under griller for a few seconds until the cheese has melted.
- Serve with orange preserve.
