Gouda is manufactured using pasteurised, standardised cow's milk according to prescribed work instructions. It is a full fat, semi-hard cheese. Smooth, soft, pliable texture, softer than Cheddar cheese. Creamy yellow-orange colour with a mild and nutty flavour. The product contains no preservatives other than salt. Annatto cheese colouring is added to standardise the colour of the finished product. The cheese can also be supplied without colouring if required. |
