Ingredients
    • 6 eggs, room temperature
    • 10 ml vinegar
    • 5 ml salt
    • salt and freshly ground black
    • pepper to taste
Method

    Bring a shallow, heavy-based saucepan of water to the simmer.

    Add the vinegar and salt.

    Carefully break eggs into the water, one at a time.

    Continue simmering until egg whites set around the yolk.

    Carefully remove eggs from the water with a slotted spoon.

    Season to taste and serve.
