Clover competition offers tasty packages to Aardklop National Arts Festival:
After a longer and harsher winter than usual, Clover has announced a timely competition to usher in and celebrate the warmer weather, new beginnings and renewed enthusiasm associated with spring.
As the new sponsor of the Clover Aardklop National Arts Festival in Potchefstroom - being held this year from October 4 to 9 - the recently listed dairy products and beverages group is enabling five lucky couples to win a trip to the festival, one of the biggest and most successful on the South African arts and culture calendar.
Running from September 9 to September 30, the competition has some sensational prizes, including the following for each winning couple: flights to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport (if applicable, depending on where the winners reside); a luxury “limo” drive to and from Potchefstroom; complementary accommodation (Aardklop has organised accommodation at various guesthouses in Potch ); free tickets to three shows of their choice; free entry to the festival area; and a R400 hamper of Clover goodies. The prize packages are valid from October 7 to October 9.
The competition is being advertised on Clover’s website www.clover.co.za, Aardklop’s website www.aardklop.co.za, and in the Beeld and Rapport newspapers.
Clover, identified as South Africa’s 3rd most engaged brand in a research survey by Yellowwood Brand Architects, recently entered into an agreement to sponsor Aardklopwith an amount of R4.5 million a year for five years and has plans to broaden the scope and reach of the festival by taking it to other major regional centres around the country.
“We are extremely excited about our sponsorship of Aardklop and want to be able to treat five couples to a great experience at this year’s event,” said Chris Lerm, executive director in charge of branding and marketing at Clover.
“This will help us to start off our sponsorship with a bang and introduce Aardklop to people who may not have had the good fortune to have visited the event before.”
