CLOVER SUPER M SIP AND FLIP SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION
terms and conditions
Important clauses which may limit our responsibility, place an obligation on you to indemnify us, involve an acknowledgment of any fact or involve some risk for you will be in bold and italics. You must pay special attention to these clauses.
1. INTRODUCTION
1. The Clover Super M “Sip and Flip” social media competition (“Competition”) is being run by Clover S.A Proprietary Limited, Registration Number 1994/001064/07 and its authorised agent/s or representative/s (“Organiser/we/us/our”).
2. The Competition consists of the possibility of winning a Prize (as defined below) after entrants upload and post a video of their best bottle flip moment featuring the participating product in response to the Super M Competition post on the Organiser’s Social Media pages (as defined below) during the Competition Period (as defined below).
3. Each person entering the Competition (“participants/entrants/you/your”) and/or accepting any Prize in terms of this Competition, agrees and accepts that the Competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions (“Rules”) are binding on him or her and he or she is obliged to comply with these Rules.
4. A copy of these Rules can be found online at www.clover.co.za (“Website”), or at Clover Park, 200 Constantia Drive, Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort.
2. WHO CAN ENTER
2.1. In order to be eligible to enter the Competition you must:
2.1.1. be a legal, permanent resident or citizen of the Republic of South Africa (“South Africa”);
2.1.2. be in possession of a valid identity document with a 13 (thirteen) digit identity number or a passport or other documentary proof of South African residency;
2.1.3. be 18 (eighteen) years old or older on the date you enter;
2.1.4. be a natural person; and
2.1.5. not be barred or disqualified by any authority from participating in the Competition and/or taking delivery and transfer of the Prize(s) or any portion thereof available to be won during the Competition.
2.2. Notwithstanding clause 2.1, you are not eligible to enter this Competition if:
2.2.1. you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of the Organiser, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Organiser;
2.2.2. you are an immediate family member, life partner, or business partner of any of the persons specified in clause 2.1; or
2.2.3. you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition.
3. COMPETITION PERIOD
3.1. The Competition will commence at 00:01 on 20 November 2025 (“start date”) and close at 23:59 on 30 January 2026 (“closing date”). The period calculated from the Competition start date until the closing date (both days inclusive) is referred to as the “Competition Period”.
3.2. Any entries to the Competition received after the expiry of the Competition Period will not be considered.
4. HOW TO ENTER
4.1. Entrants will need to find the Competition on the following official Super M social pages on the Organiser’s social media platforms

4.1.2. X (Twitter) page
4.1.3. Instagram page
4.1.4. TikTok page
(collectively the “Social Pages”)
and enter by replying to the Competition post and uploading a video of your smoothest and most legendary bottle flip featuring a SuperM Lemon Cream Biscuit Flavoured 300ml product (“participating product”) on any one of the Social Pages and tagging @CloverSuperM.
All entries must include the competition hashtags #SipAndFlip and #SuperMYouBiscuit.
4.2. In order for your entry to be valid:
4.2.1. you must comply with these Rules;
4.2.2. you must include #SipAndFlip and #SuperMYouBiscuit in your reply /comment and
4.2.3. you must be following @CloverSuperM on the same Social Page where you submit your entry.
4.3. On compliance with the requirements as set out in these Rules, you will automatically be entered into the Competition.
4.4. There is no restriction on the number of times you may enter during the Competition Period.
4.5. No entries by agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by a computer (automated entries) will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries must be made manually by a natural person.
4.6. If your entry is submitted in a manner that in the sole discretion of the Organiser will provide you with an unfair advantage over other entrants, you will be disqualified from the Competition. The Organiser further reserves its rights, in its sole discretion, to remove any entries, posts and/or comments from any Social Pages of the Organiser.
4.7. Your entry will be withdrawn should it not comply with these Rules.
4.8. The costs of each entry will be for the account of the entrant, including standard internet costs.
4.9. You acknowledge that any personal information submitted by you for purposes of the Competition shall be collected, used, stored and processed by the Organiser for purposes of the Competition, including but not limited to viewing the entries, selecting and announcing the Winners (publicly, on social media, or otherwise), verifying compliance with these Rules, and contacting Winners. You hereby consent to such collection, use, storage and processing of your personal information by the Organiser. You further consent that your name and image (if applicable) being announced/displayed publicly by the Organiser on any platform that we deem fit.
5. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS
5.1. The Organiser will, at its discretion, select a total of 30 (thirty) of its favourite entries (“Finalists”), all of which will have had to have entered during the Competition Period, and will share these Finalists with a panel of judges appointed by the Organiser in its sole discretion.
5.2. The panel of judges will review the Finalists and select 20 (twenty) entries, over the duration of the Competition Period, which they deem as exciting, fun, bold and true to the brand (each being a “Winner”).
5.3. The Winners will be announced after the Competition has closed.
5.4. We will notify the Winners by commenting on their entry post to request copies of each Winner’s identification document in order to validate his/her entry, any other information requested and to request further contact details. Each Winner will be required to provide an electronic copy of his/her identification document and any other information requested within 2 days from being requested by us to do so.
5.5. If a Winner does not reply to the notification message sent by us, and/or fails to provide the information requested by us, within 2 (two) days of it being sent by us, that Winner will forfeit the Prize and will have no claim against us. In the event of a forfeiture as contemplated herein, we shall have the right, but shall not be obliged, to select a different entrant on the same conditions.
5.6. The Winners may, at the sole discretion and election of the Organiser, also be announced on the Social Pages once the Winners are confirmed.
5.7. By entering the Competition you (a) consent to the announcements on the Social Pages and (b) consent and agree to your name, image (if applicable) and contact details being collected, used, stored and processed by the Organisers for purposes of the Competition as well as marketing purposes in relation to SuperM.
6. THE PRIZE
6.1. the Organiser shall select a total of 20 (twenty) Winners, over the Competition Period, who will each receive a Faffies limited-edition speedo and hat, together with a 6-pack of the participating product, the total prize value being over R1 500 (one thousand five hundred Rand) (“the Prize”).
6.2. The Prize excludes all items not mentioned in clause 6.1 and may differ from images or items used in marketing material for the Competition.
6.3. The Prize, or any part thereof, may not be exchanged by the Winner for any other item. Prizes are not transferable. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize, or part thereof, with any other Prize of a similar commercial value.
6.4. Any taxes and/or costs associated with the receipt of any Prize shall be for the account of the Winner.
7. GENERAL TERMS
7.1. The Organiser may in its sole discretion amend these Rules at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised Rules on the Website.
7.2. The Organiser will interpret the Rules in their sole discretion and reserve the right to amend the Rules at any time should it be deemed necessary in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Organiser.
7.3. If you are not eligible to enter the Competition in terms of these Rules, you will forfeit any Prize that may be allocated to you in terms of this Competition. The Organiser reserves the right to request you to provide necessary proof that you have met the eligibility requirements. Should you fail to provide such proof within the time period provided for in these Rules, you will be disqualified and any Prize(s) will be forfeited and returned if applicable.
7.4. The Organiser may collect, store and use any personal information of entrants and/or other participants for communication, marketing or statistical purposes. By entering the Competition, you expressly consent to the aforesaid use.
7.5. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Organiser will be final and binding and no correspondence and/or discussion will be entered into. In this regard and for further clarity, the Organiser shall be entitled to deal with such disputes (or any failure by participants to follow the Rules) in their sole discretion, including that the Organiser shall be entitled, in addition to any other rights which the Organiser may have in terms of these Rules, to immediately disqualify participants from the Competition
7.6. By entering the Competition and/or accepting any Prize, the entrants, users and/or Winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless the Organiser (including its subsidiaries, holding companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors (the “Organiser Parties”) from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or amount of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a Prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a Prize-related activity.
7.7. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate the Competition at any time with immediate effect. If this is the case, the Organiser will provide a notice on the Website. It shall be the responsibility of entrants to review the Website in this respect. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against any of the Organiser Parties and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature against the Organiser Parties.
7.8. The Organiser is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted and/or selected
7.9. Any Prize is accepted by a Winner at his/her own risk and the Organiser is not liable, at any time, for any defect in the Prize.
7.10. Where relevant:
7.10.1. if a Winner does not accept the Prize or is deemed not to accept the Prize;
7.10.2. if an entry is not valid for whatever reason;
7.10.3. if a Winner has breached these Rules;
7.10.4. if a Winner does something that amounts to hate speech, the incitement of violence, is disparaging, discriminatory, harmful and/or unlawful and/or which, in the sole discretion of the Organiser does or may bring the Organiser Parties, SuperM and/or the Competition into disrepute;
7.10.5. if a Winner renounces the Prize or we deem such Winner to have renounced the Prize, we reserve the right to declare the Prize forfeited and/or choose a new Winner.
7.11. Nothing in these Rules is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the entrants or the Organisers in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
7.12. The duration of this Competition may also be extended or curtailed at the sole discretion of the Organiser. If this is the case, the Organiser will provide notice of this on the Website.
7.13. All Competition queries must be directed to 0860 11 75 33 between 08h00 to 16h30. Standard network rates apply. Free minutes do not apply all costs shall be for the account of the person who made the query.
