DFSA became fully operational on 1 April 2017, as a full subsidiary of Clover and started to operate independent on 1 July 2017. DFSA’s main shareholders are Clover’s previous milk producers, now owning 74% of the voting shares in DFSA. Clover still holds a strategic shareholding of 26%. None of these shares carry monetary value and are merely there to determine each shareholder’s voting rights in the company.
DFSA is managed in a reliable, responsible and sustainable manner. We promote a healthy environment and sustainable dairy farming across Southern Africa.
Clover provides all essential services to DFSA such as Production, Distribution, Merchandising and all Support Services. DFSA’s product range consists out of Fresh-, UHT-, UP- and Steri milk, which are sold directly to the trade by DFSA, however still under Clover’s iconic brand and some other brands that were part of Clover’s brand portfolio.
