COMPETITION INFORMATION SCHEDULE

Participation in this promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and Participants agree to abide and be bound by the Competition Terms and Conditions (Terms).

Please note that the terms in bold require Participants to take on risk, limit the liability of the Promoter and Co-Promoter, and indemnify the Promoter and Co-Promoter, and are specifically drawn to your attention. Participants are required to read them carefully and contact the Promoter and/or Co-promoter should they have any queries.

NB – This Competition Information Schedule must be read together with the Competition Terms and Conditions/rules which can be found below.

   Name: The SPAR Group Limited, including its authorised agent/s or representative/s.
   Physical address: 22 Chancery Lane, Pinetown
5. How to Enter
   A Participant is required to be a SPAR Rewards member with a valid SPAR Rewards card issued in their own name; have a valid South African driver’s licence issued in their name; purchase at least any 1x Clover participating product (as listed below) at participating SPAR stores exclusively in the Western Cape (as listed below), while stocks last; and swipe their SPAR Rewards card at the time of transaction when purchasing the participating product, to receive an automatic entry. (Refer to participating products list.)Each Participant shall receive confirmation of their entry on their till slip. There is no restriction on the number of times a person may enter during the promotional period, provided that each new entry requires a separate purchase.

   Each Participant warrants and undertakes that the SPAR Rewards card which he or she swipes or has swiped in order to enter this Competition has been issued in his or her own personal name and that all information submitted to and/or collected and/or stored by the Co-Promoter in relation to or on such Participant’s SPAR Rewards card is both true and correct.

6. What prizes can be won?
   • 30 (thirty) x Ultimate DHL Stormers Experiences for each winner and one (1) guest, each including:
     • 2 (two) VIP matchday hospitality tickets to a DHL Stormers home fixture (fixture selected at the Promoter’s discretion and subject to availability; winners may not select a specific match);
     • access to a designated hospitality suite at DHL Stadium, including catering and bar service, during the fixture;
     • 1 (one) official DHL Stormers jersey for the winner; and
     • 1 (one) meet and greet opportunity with at least one DHL Stormers player, subject to player availability, team schedules and applicable agreements. No specific player is guaranteed.

     AND

   • 1 (one) Grand Prize consisting of 1 (one) Jetour Dashing motor vehicle, all specifications and parameters of which shall be at the Promoter’s discretion.

   The nature, details, content, and composition of the prizes may vary, including based on availability, operational requirements, and external factors. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes, or part thereof, with another prize or prizes of a similar commercial value. The prizes may differ from images or items used in marketing material for the competition.

   All prizes exclude any travel, accommodation, and any additional costs not expressly stated and are for the winner’s own account. Any taxes associated with the receipt of any prize shall be for the account of the winner thereof. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-deferrable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.

7. How is a winner(s) selected?
   SPAR Rewards Competitions platform will randomly draw winners. The results/decision thereof will be final.
8. How will winners know they have won?
   30 (thirty) winners who comply with these terms and conditions will be selected via a random draw conducted through the SPAR Rewards Competitions platform after the end of the promotional period and no later than 31 August 2026. There will be 30 (thirty) winners of the Ultimate DHL Stormers Experience, and 1 (one) of these winners will be selected via the random draw as the winner of the vehicle prize.Winners will be contacted directly using the contact details associated with their SPAR Rewards profile (via phone call and/or SMS and/or email). The Promoter and/or Co-Promoter will attempt to contact each winner up to 3 (three) times over 3 (three) consecutive business days. If a winner cannot be successfully contacted, or fails to respond within the required timeframe, the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s discretion.

   If a Participant has not been notified that he or she is a winner on or before 31 August 2026, this means that they have not been selected as a winner. Participants who are not selected as winners will not be notified to the effect that they have not been so selected.

   Winners may be required to provide proof of identity (valid South African ID) for verification and confirm their eligibility before the prize is awarded. Should they fail to do so, the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s discretion.

   Once winners have been verified, their names may be published on the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter’s websites and social media platforms, to which publication they hereby consent.

9. How are prizes delivered/collected?
   • Ultimate DHL Stormers Experience prizes:
     • Winners will be contacted to confirm their prize and relevant arrangements.
     • Fixture tickets will be delivered electronically to the winners’ registered email addresses prior to the selected fixture.
     • Stormers jerseys will be delivered to the winners via courier to a valid South African address provided by the winner.
     • The meet and greet experience will be coordinated by the Promoter and/or its agency partners and will take place at a time and location determined by the Promoter, subject to player availability and team schedules.
     • Hospitality access includes entry to a designated suite at DHL Stadium, including catering and bar service, as determined by the Promoter.
     • Entry to the stadium and hospitality suite is subject to stadium rules, ticketing terms and conditions, and applicable safety regulations.
   • Grand Prize – Jetour Dashing:
     • The vehicle prize will be supplied and fulfilled by Jetour South Africa and/or its authorised dealership network.
     • The winner will be required to provide a valid South African identity document, proof of address, and any other documentation required for verification, registration, and handover purposes, including a valid South African driver’s licence.
     • The winner must comply with all administrative, legal, and dealership requirements of Jetour South Africa and/or the authorised dealership.
     • The vehicle will be collected by the winner from a Jetour dealership at a mutually agreed date, time, and location within South Africa.
     • The prize excludes all costs and expenses not expressly stated to be included, including but not limited to vehicle registration and licensing fees, insurance, fuel, tracking or security subscriptions, ongoing maintenance, servicing, repairs, wear and tear costs, and any accessories, extras, or optional features not expressly included. All such costs shall be for the sole account of the winner.
     • The winner shall bear all risk in and to the vehicle from the date and time of handover.
     • The Promoter and Co-Promoter give no warranty or representation in relation to the vehicle. Any manufacturer’s warranty or dealership warranty that may apply shall be subject solely to the terms of Jetour South Africa and/or the authorised dealership (if applicable).
10. How long do winners have to claim their prize?
    Winners will be required to accept their prize within 5 (five) business days of being successfully contacted. Should a winner fail to accept the prize within this period, or fail to comply with any verification requirements, the prize will be deemed forfeited and a replacement winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s discretion.Prizes will be fulfilled within a reasonable period after winner verification, not exceeding 90 (ninety) days of being successfully contacted, unless otherwise communicated to the winners. All prizes must be utilised within the validity period communicated to the winner (where applicable). Failure to utilise the prize within the stipulated time will result in forfeiture.

13. Who can Participants contact about their rights as a consumer?
    Participants can:
    • contact SPAR Customer Care Line: customercare@spar.co.za
    • contact the National Consumer Commission (NCC) in South Africa for assistance with their rights as consumers. The NCC is responsible for enforcing the Consumer Protection Act and handling consumer complaints.

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The Promoter is as described in item 3 of the Competition Information Schedule (Schedule).

2. The Co-Promoter is as described in item 4 of the Schedule.

3. The participant (Participant) is a person who complies with the entry requirements of this Competition and enters the competition in accordance with item 5 of the Schedule.

4. The Competition runs for the duration set out in item 2 of the Schedule. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

5. Participation

To qualify to enter the Competition, Participants must comply with the entry requirements in item 5 of the Schedule.

6. Prizes

Participants who:

6.1. are eligible to enter in terms of clause 7;

6.2. meet the entry requirements in item 5 of the Schedule; and

6.3. enter the Competition in accordance with and otherwise comply with these terms and conditions,

stand a chance to win the prizes in item 6 of the Schedule.

7. Who may enter?

The Competition is open to all natural persons who are citizens of South Africa (in possession of a valid identification document with a 13 (thirteen) digit identity number), who are 18 years of age or over, excluding:

7.1. the members, shareholders, directors, employees, partners, agents and consultants (and their respective life partners, business partners and immediate families) of:

7.1.1. the Promoter, the Co-Promoter, the SPAR Guild of Southern Africa NPC and the Build it Guild of Southern Africa NPC, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by same; and

7.1.2. members of the SPAR Guild of Southern Africa NPC and the Build it Guild of Southern Africa NPC; and

7.1.3. the suppliers of the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter which supply the Prizes or any products that Participants must purchase to participate in the Competition; and

7.2. any person who has won a Promoter promotional competition prize valued at R10 000 (ten thousand rand) or more within the 6 (six) months preceding the start date of this Competition. For purposes of this clause, the Promoter’s records regarding previous winners and prize values shall be final and binding; and

7.3. any person who is barred or disqualified by any authority from participating in the Competition and/or taking delivery and transfer of the Prizes or any portion thereof.

8. How to enter

To enter the Competition the Participant must follow the process(s) set out in item 5 of the Schedule.

9. Award and delivery of Prizes

9.1. Winners will be selected in the manner set out in item 7 of the Schedule.

9.2. Winners will be contacted in the method set out in item 8 of the Schedule.

9.3. Winners must present proof of identity (in the form of a valid Green ID Book or ID Card issued by Home Affairs – for South Africa).

9.4. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash or for any other goods or services.

9.5. Failure to claim a Prize or a refusal or inability to comply with the requirements of these terms and conditions within the period in item 10 of the Schedule will disqualify any winner and a new winner will be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

10. Publication of names and images

10.1. The names of the winners will be published on the website listed in the Schedule and on social media once the winners have been validated and verified. The Participant, accordingly, by participating in this Competition, provides their consent to supply their personal information for the aforesaid purposes as contemplated in terms of Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and any other applicable law.

10.2. The winners’ names will also be featured in national press advertisements after the competition has ended and, in this regard, the Participant will be required to sign further documents as may be reasonably requested by the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter for the aforesaid purposes prior to any publication. However, the Participant may opt to decline their participation in such advertisements. If the Participant opts to participate in such advertisement, they shall have no claim to any compensation or payment in respect of their name and/or images.

10.3. By accepting the Prize, the winners of the Competition agree that the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter may use their names and pictures for any future marketing material by the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter in print and digital media and in this regard, a winner will be required to sign further documents as may be reasonably requested by the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter for the aforesaid purposes prior to any publication. However, the Participant may opt to decline their participation in such marketing material. If the Participant opts to participate in such marketing material, they shall have no claim to any compensation or payment in respect of their name and/or images.

11. General

11.1. By participating or entering this Competition, Participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these rules which will be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. All information relating to this Competition and published on any promotional material will form part of the terms and conditions of entry.

11.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter, Co-Promoter, their associated companies, nor any directors, officers, contractors, suppliers, or employees of such nor their partners or agents supporting the Competition (“Indemnified Parties”) shall be responsible for any claim, action, expense, loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by any Participant/entrant or winner or their accompanying person(s) (including but not limited to any direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss or damages) or for any personal injury (whether physical or mental) suffered or sustained by any Participant/entrant or winner and/or their accompanying person(s) as a result of or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the Competition, the acceptance, use or application of any Prize, the participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity, and/or the breach of any of these terms and conditions (“Claims”). By entering the Competition, the Participants hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from and against any aforesaid Claims.

11.3. The Promoter and/or Co-promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever, including any incorrect or incomplete contact or other information supplied by a Participant or winner.

11.4. The Promoter and/or Co-Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind.

11.5. The Promoter and/or Co-Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.

11.6. The Promoter and/or the Co-Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or winner if any fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.

11.7. The Promoter and/or Co-promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately or amend these terms and conditions and without notice, in any manner whatsoever, if deemed necessary in their sole discretion and/or if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all Participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.

11.8. If the Prize is not available despite the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize of similar value.

11.9. All marketing material used in connection with or in relation to the Competition is for illustrative purposes only.

11.10. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter does not make any representation or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly as to a Prize, and in particular, without limitation, makes no representations and gives no warranty that the Prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet the Participant’s requirements, preferences, standards or expectations. Any Prize is accepted by a winner at his or her own risk.

11.11. If a dispute arises in relation to the interpretation of the Competition and/or its terms and conditions, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and binding, and no correspondence shall be entered into.

11.12. If any of the terms and conditions contained herein are found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such terms will be severable from the remaining terms of these terms and conditions, which will continue to be valid and enforceable.

11.13. In your interest, the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter has done everything reasonably practicable to comply with all the relevant laws that they are subject to. In terms of POPIA, the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter comply with industry standards when it comes to the collection, storage and protection of Participants’ personal information. Each Participant acknowledges that any personal information submitted for purposes of the Competition shall be collected, used, stored and processed by the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter for purposes of the Competition, including but not limited to viewing the entries, selecting and announcing the winners, verifying compliance with these terms and conditions, contacting winners, and handing over Prizes. Each Participant hereby consents to such collection, use, storage and processing of his or her personal information by the Promoter and/or Co-Promoter.

11.14. By entering this Competition, Participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brands on promotion. However, a Participant has the right to unsubscribe from receiving marketing material or request the Promoter to delete their information by contacting the customer care line in item 13 of the Schedule.

11.15. The Promoter will be responsible for only those costs which these terms and conditions expressly state that the Promoter will pay, if any.

12. Specific Prize Fulfilment Provisions

12.1. In the event that any prize element becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute such prize or prize element with another of equal or greater value.

12.2. Any insurance, licensing, registration, fuel, taxes, duties, maintenance and ongoing costs associated with the vehicle after handover shall be for the winner’s own account.

12.3. The Jetour Dashing grand prize is supplied and fulfilled by Jetour South Africa. The Promoter and Co-Promoter do not provide any warranty, representation or guarantee regarding the vehicle and shall not be liable for the fulfilment, delivery, condition, performance, defects, mechanical issues, damages or losses arising from or in connection with the vehicle once handed over to the winner.

12.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the experience prize with another element of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control prevent fulfilment of the original prize element, including but not limited to fixture changes, venue changes, player unavailability, or operational constraints.

12.5. Travel, accommodation and all other incidental or ancillary costs not expressly included in the prize are for the winner’s own account.

12.6. The meet and greet opportunity is subject to player availability, team schedules, operational requirements and applicable agreements. No representation is made that any specific player will attend or participate.

12.7. For avoidance of doubt, winners of the Ultimate Stormers Experience are not entitled to choose a specific DHL Stormers fixture. The Promoter shall determine the relevant fixture, suite allocation and timing in its sole discretion, subject to availability.

12.8. These clauses apply specifically to the Ultimate Stormers Experience prizes and the Jetour Dashing grand prize and must be read together with the Competition Information Schedule and the standard Competition Terms and Conditions above.
