Campaign Announcement for Nestea
Nestea is celebrating their relaunch in 2015 by going back to their roots. They are tipping their hats to the original “Take the Nestea Plunge” advertising campaign, which debuted in the 1970’s and ran through the 1990’s.
This popular campaign became synonymous with a refreshing sip of ice cold Nestea.
This year, Nestea decided to put an even more refreshing spin on the campaign. Six local celebrities have all pledged to Take the Plunge after a sip of Nestea in order to raise funds of up to R100 000 for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC)!
From the 7th of September 2015 fans got to decide on imaginative outfits they would like to see their celebs take the plunge in. The fan with the most creative outfit idea got to take the plunge alongside their favourite celebs. The first official plunge took place on Saturday 12 September and continued every Saturday with the final plunge taking place on 17 October 2015.
Now it is up to you to participate in this worthy cause and join in on the fun, by voting for your favourite video. Voting week opens on 26 October 2015 at 08h00 to 30 October 2015 at 12h00. Click on the voting tab on the Nestea Facebook page and vote for the best official celebrity/ fan plunge video. Each vote for the winning plunge is worth R10 and for every vote received, Clover will donate R10 to CHOC. The winning celebrity will hand over the donation cheque of up to R100 000 to CHOC, while the winning fan will receive an exclusive trip for two valued at R50 000 to Knysna Tonquani Lodge near to the Drupkelders natural rock pool.
