2 cups self-raising flour
4 bananas, cut into thirds
1 ½ cups Clover fresh full cream milk
½ cup oil
1 tablespoons castor sugar
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Clover Classic custard, for serving
pinch of salt
Combine flour, bicarb, spices, salt and castor sugar in a bowl.
Mix, then add milk to form a thick batter.
Portion bananas, dust with flour, then dip and cover generously in batter.
Heat oil to a medium heat and fry gently until puffed and golden brown.
Serve with Clover Classic custard.
