50ml x cake flour
1L x Clover Fresh full cream milk
1tbs x Clover Springbok Unsalted butter
½tsp x salt
2 x chai flavored tea bags OR 2tbs x chai latte powder
cinnamon sugar, to taste
Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, add the salt and butter.
Rub the butter in with your fingertips until it resembles bread crumbs.
Heat the milk in a pot over medium heat.
Add the tea bags or latte powder and stir to infuse the flavours.
Allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add the dry ingredients to the milk, while stirring continuously.
Lumps will form, keep stirring. Cover the pot with a lid and allow to simmer for 7-8 minutes, until cooked and thickened.
Serve the melkkos warm and sprinkle some cinnamon sugar to taste over the top
