4cups x Clover Care milk
1/2cup x basmati rice, soaked in cold water for 30minutes, drain, rinse and set aside in bowl.
2 x cardamom pods
6 – 8 x strands of saffron
1/4cup x Clover Condensed milk
1 drop x rosewater
1/2cup x raisins or golden raisins
1/2cup x roasted sliced almonds
1/2cup of pistachio nuts, roughly chopped
In a large deep saucepan or pot, bring the milk to a boil and add the rice and cardamom pods.
Cook on a medium heat for about 15 minutes until rice is almost cooked, making sure to stir when necessary.
Next, add the Condensed milk, rosewater, saffron strands, raisins and half of the nuts. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve in small beautiful bowls and the garnish with the remaining nuts… Deliciousness.
