6 – 8 x 120 – 150 g portions of rump or fillet steak
Any favourite seasoning spice
50 g / 50 ml Clover Mooi River Butter
SAUCE
500 ml Clover Fresh Cream
5 – 10 ml chopped garlic (1 – 2 cloves)
2 ml garlic and herb seasoning
3 ml beef stock powder
30 ml cornflour
50 ml water
3 ml soy sauce
1 ml paprika
Good pinch cayenne pepper
10 ml coarsely ground mixed peppercorns
To make the sauce, place the cream into a saucepan and heat gently.
Add the garlic, garlic and herb seasoning, stock powder and cornflour mixed with water, soy sauce, paprika and cayenne pepper and bring to boil, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Season the meat as preferred and fry in hot butter until browned and done to taste.
Serve with the sauce on the side.
