2 litres Clover full cream milk
312 ml (1¼ cups) cake flour
2,5 ml salt
45 ml (3 tablespoons) Clover Farmstyle butter
250 ml (1 cup) sugar
7,5 ml (1½ teaspoon) ground cinnamon
Heat the milk in a well-sized saucepan until medium warm.
Mix the flour and the salt. Rub the butter into it so that it looks like bread crumbs.
Sprinkle these onto the hot milk and stir until well mixed.
Heat to boiling point, then turn down the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes over low
heat until it thickens.
The melkkos can be lumpy, in which case you can stir it with a hand-held beater until smaller lumps form.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the melkkos.
