• 2 kg self-raising flour
• 1 tablespoon (15 ml) salt
• 25 ml baking powder
• 500 g Clover Farmstyle butter
• 2 cups (500 ml) sugar
• 2 cups (500 ml) Clover Amazi
• 4 large eggs
• 2 cups (500 ml) sunflower oil
• 1 cup (250 ml) linseed
• ½ cup (125 ml) sesame seeds
• ½ cup (125 ml) poppy seeds
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
2. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and seeds together.
3. Melt the butter and add the sugar.
4. Add Amazi and eggs and beat until sugar has dissolved. Add oil. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough is formed.
5. Divide dough between 4 medium-sized bread tins and bake for 50 minutes.
6. Allow to cool and cut into fingers. Dry overnight on an oven rack in the oven at 100 °C.
