JACQUES VAN HEERDEN

Jacques van Heerden is a key leader at Clover, driving industrial operations and cultivating strong supplier relationships to enhance efficiencies and align with the company’s strategic objectives. As the Executive: Industrial, Jacques oversees a wide-ranging portfolio that encompasses Procurement (including raw milk procurement), Production, Supply Chain Planning, Distribution, Product Development, Engineering, and Quality. He is also responsible for Clover’s Food Ingredient business unit and the informal trade channel, Masakhane.

With a solid background in law, Jacques brings a deep understanding of regulatory complexities, ensuring compliance throughout all industrial operations. He is an admitted attorney and notary and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of South Africa, underscoring his commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.

In 2023, Jacques further honed his leadership skills by attending the prestigious Stanford Executive Program in Palo Alto, gaining invaluable insights into global business trends, strategic leadership, and innovation. This experience further reinforces his ability to navigate complex business landscapes and drive growth at Clover.
