GERBRAND ALBERTS

Gerbrand Alberts brings significant financial expertise and strategic insight to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Clover. With his expertise in finance and accounting, Gerbrand plays a pivotal role in executing capital raising strategies, supervising cash management, and overseeing the Risk Management of the group as well as the IT function and strategy.

Gerbrand holds an MCom in Taxation from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). His educational background and professional qualifications provide a strong foundation for his strategic approach to financial management and business development. In his role as CFO, Gerbrand is dedicated to fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and strategic growth at Clover. He believes that he is “only as good as his team” and emphasises the importance of surrounding himself with the best people to achieve the company’s goals. His leadership style is characterised by a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement.
