This simple breakfast staple can be served with sweet or savoury (or both!) accompaniments.

8 slices white bread or French bread
45 ml Clover 2% low fat fresh milk
4 extra large eggs
50 ml Clover Ghee or Clover Mooi River butter
250 g crisply fried bacon
Beat the eggs and milk together until frothy.
Pour into a dish large enough to dip a slice of bread.
Heat the ghee or butter in a heavy-based non-stick frying pan.
Dip both sides of the bread into egg mixture and gently fry until golden and cooked on both sides.
Divide the toast between 4 plates.
Arrange the bacon on top and drizzle with golden syrup.
